Maisa has a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and is the co-founder of Nova Dental along with Dr Mickelson. She has structured her family-owned dental practice to provide excellent customer service along with outstanding dental care.

She brings vast knowledge of administrative experience in Office Management, Human Resources, and Accounting.

When not at work, Maisa is spending time with her two kids, husband and friends. She strongly believes in the power of community is always looking for ways to give back.

Paula is focused on creating a comfortable and fun environment for patients. She loves to answer questions about the latest dental technology and home care products. Using her ten years of experience in dentistry, she aims to elevate the bar in clinical hygiene and foster long term relationships with her patients. Fun fact: Paula was Nova Dental´s very first employee and she was initially hired as a dental assistant while she finished her education as a Dental Hygienist.

She likes to spend her free time running around her neighborhood, taking care of her plants, and hanging out with her husband. On weekends, Paula enjoys working on her car as a hobby and going to the beach.

Carol is our patient care/insurance coordinator. She ensures our patients not only get the coverage and benefits they deserve, but also making sure they get appointments in a timely manner.

Outside of the dental office, Carol enjoys spending time with her family and friends. On her spare time she likes to explore local restaurants and watch movies.

 “Every day my mission is to make each patient feel comfortable on their dental visit, having a positive experience even before they see the doctor.”

Ashley brings all her experience working as an Expanded Function Dental Assistant for the past four years with certificates in radiology, sealants, and CPR. Our patients love her calming demeanor and genuine care. She loves working in Dentistry helping patients have the best experience possible.

She loves to spend time with her family and explore beautiful Tampa Bay when she is not at work and has a strong passion for traveling.
